Read Full ArticleFor 25 years, the British Fenestration Rating Council has run the Window & Door Energy Rating scheme for the UK. It is still striving to raise standards – and is on the crest an expansion wave.
The organisation’s logo has had a refresh – the familiar colours associated with energy efficiency labels are now framed in a wave.

Sellman says: “Our newly established team is working on widening the scope of our service offering in line with the growing demands on the performance and quality of windows and doors the market now requires. We’re also working on overhauling the brand. We already have our refreshed logo and a new look website will be coming soon.
“With ongoing debates on Part L and other building regulation requirements, the new look BFRC, which combines the organisation’s longstanding heritage with the teams wide-ranging expertise, will be well placed to help enable the industry to comply with future requirements.
“As standards continue to evolve, testing and certification remain hot topics, which is why we are extending our position as the industry-focussed, independent, collaborative certification partner. 2024 will see a diversification of our service offering.
