Headford Heads For Head Job At CAB

Nigel Headford, an existing member of the board, will take on the CEO role at the Council for Aluminium in Building in May.

Headford’s career in the aluminium sector dates back to 1995 when he entered the rainscreen cladding market. He has taken on several roles during his career and has become well respected across the fenestration industry in both trade and commercial markets. He attended his first members’ meeting in 2003 and was eventually invited to join the CAB board in 2022.

Headford says: “The CAB board has some clear objectives for the next few years and I’m looking forward to driving those changes on a day-to-day basis.

“It all comes down to CAB’s value proposition and how we can grow our membership within the industry and offer support to those businesses. I’m also keen that we can better represent the trade aluminium sector as many suppliers in the home improvement sector now look towards aluminium sales to drive their businesses.”

Headford adds: “Should you wish to learn more about the use of aluminium used in construction, contact CAB directly – or why not consider joining the association and be recognised as being involved in supporting your industry and helping to shape its future?
