Gemma Morris has become sales co-ordinator at AliMet Fabrications alongside spouse Anthony who is general manager for pressed metals. Mrs Morris hopes her role will go from minor to major in relatively short order.

The pressed metals side of the business will soon be housed in a separate building as the window and doors fabrication arm of the firm moves to a new HQ – just up the road from the old HQ.

Gemma Morris’ job involves status managing all live projects to ensure that orders are sent to production and dispatched within agreed timeframes, alongside managing relationships with new and potential customers.

Although she is new to the industry, she has many transferrable skills having being worked in production and customer service roles.

Says Gemma: “As a relatively young company, it has a lot of potential and that’s what really attracted me to the role as well as working with a good group of people including my husband. I am looking to growing my job which is a new role within the company, creating a great customer service experience and helping co-ordinate sales and operational activity.”
