New Trade Windows partners with Doorco
North East Panels, manufacturer and supplier of composite and PVC-U doors to the trade, says DoorCo is one of its top suppliers.Jimmy Wood, managing director of North East Panels, says: “As a leading door supplier, we pride ourselves on delivering a high level of quality and service. “We’ve worked with DoorCo for a number of years and they are now one of our main partners for composite doors, providing us with the vast majority of the foam-core, GRP composite doors we offer, as well as the FLiP door glazing cassette system. They are an excellent supplier and we have a good, healthy working relationship. We can rely on them for providing us with the quantity and quality of components we need on a supply only basis, so we can manufacture everything ourselves from stock. We don’t hold vast amounts of stock, but DoorCo delivers as and when we need it to, so we always have everything we need.
“The FLiP cassette has been a great asset to our business. It’s so simple to use it was immediately welcomed by our manufacturing team, and the various styles available are really aesthetically pleasing, so our customers love it too. Most importantly, it has completely eliminated the issues we were having with leakage from our previous supplier. It’s a great system, making door glazing – and on the odd occasion it’s required, reglazing – totally simple.
“We consider every new release from DoorCo. Some we take on board and some aren’t right for us or our customers, but it’s great to be able to keep our options open. A great example is the new Eaton door, which we’ve recently added to our portfolio. It’s an impressive door and the larger sizing presents a good opportunity for us. So far, it’s been favoured as replacements amongst our retail customers thanks to the new aesthetic.
