• Profine Picks Profilink To Promote Profile Position

Profine GmbH, the parent company of Kömmerling UK and a global window profile and other PVC-U building products supplier, has acquired Bulgarian systems provider Profilink to expand the aluminium side of the business.

Profilink is based in Plovdiv, Bulgaria. As part of the transaction, Profine is taking over the aluminium and PVC operations of the company, including all system brands as well as employees from the marketing, sales, and engineering departments.

Profine has committed to a strategy to significantly expand its product segment of aluminium window, door, and sliding systems. The Profilink portfolio is said to be a complementary addition to EFP Facades, which was acquired by Profine in October 2024.          

A single source

Dr. Peter A. Mrosik, the owner and CEO of Profine GmbH, says: “The acquisition of Profilink is a further strong signal of our commitment to expand our aluminium business across Europe. We are broadening our product range and strengthening our development expertise, both in aluminium and PVC. This enables us to offer our customers an even more comprehensive and powerful systems portfolio from a single source.”

Profilink has many years of market presence and expertise in developing and marketing aluminium and PVC window, door and sliding systems. Existing customer relationships and market shares, particularly in South-Eastern Europe, will now become part of the Profine network.
