The Colour Yell Sees Yale Follow

To match the call for profile choices and colours for window and door frames, Yale is making all its suites of hardware available in nine colours and finishes.

Window furniture, hinges, knockers, numerals and letterplates from Yale will now be available in anthracite grey, dark chrome, satin chrome and brushed stainless steel finishes – as well as the usual shades.

“While some homeowners will still opt for standard white doors and windows, demand for a range of finishes and colours is growing. Consumers want choice, so fabricators and retailers must provide it.”

– Paul Atkinson

Managing director, Yale

Meeting customer needs

“We recognise the importance of colour choice and that’s why we’ve expanded the range to include new colours and finishes,” continues Yale’s Atkinson. “Expanding our furniture to nine colour options – all of which can be suited – offers opportunities for fabricators and installers, as it makes it much easier to create a bespoke, modern or heritage look.

“The colour trend is certainly one I see continuing for a long time to come, as once offered in the market it’s difficult to withdraw without losing competitive advantage.”

Fits all

Yale’s range is suitable for PVC-U, composite, aluminium and timber applications. It includes the well-established Quartus window handles and door knockers and the newly launched Vertex range of vertical sliding hardware.

All Yale colour options have undergone neutral salt spray testing to guarantee corrosion resistance, ensuring they maintain their attractive appearance.
