TIM-ING Is Perfect

Sheerline has installed a £270,000 TIM-ING profile bending machine. TIM-ING offers some of the most advanced bending machinery for aluminium and PVC profiles in the world.

There are 3D cameras within the machine, which enable it to be automated for efficiency and to ensure repeatable quality.

The timing of Sheerlne’s investment is spot on with the demand for arches and more complex designs gathering pace. The company is offering a bending service, enabling fabricators to order arched, curved and round windows for their installer customers. 

 

Colours

In addition, customers can choose from standard, custom or dual colour choices without increasing lead-times. Providing an agile, robust service by keeping everything in-house, from aluminium extrusion to painting and now profile bending. 

Sheerline’s technical production director, Ross Hartshorn, says: “The installation of our specialist profile bending machine, is another step in our investment plan that ensures we stay at the forefront of the aluminium industry – it’s one of the things that differentiates us from other manufacturers.”
