• BFRC Joins Glazpartners

BFRC (British Fenestration Rating Council) has joined the Glazpartners initiative.

BFRC was founded to establish a window energy rating system for the UK in order to raise standards and drive performance in the industry. BFRC claims to be Europe’s No. 1 ratings council, with the most widely used rating system.

Collaborating with all kinds of organisations across the window and door industry – from big names to small businesses, private and government, both in the UK and internationally – BFRC offers products and services that help raise the performance standards that make buildings more energy-efficient.

BFRC managing director Richard Sellman says: “At BFRC, collaboration is key to the success of what we do and with that in mind, we are delighted to become a technical Glazpartner and support this initiative and to support its customers.

With ever-changing legislation and increasing scrutiny being placed on the construction industry as a whole, it is important for companies to ensure they have the latest information and access to people who can support them in these challenging times. We’ve been working hard at BFRC to develop our offering to ensure we can provide relevant and necessary testing and certification for the window and door sectors.”
