Peter Adams of Capital Windows has signed a new three-year supply agreement with Epwin Window Systems. The trade and domestic fabricator has been manufacturing the Stellar aluminium window and door system since 2019.

Capital Windows manufactures the full range of Stellar products including the new slimline bi-fold door and tilt and turn window.

Fully flush window

“Demand for Stellar from our customers continues to rise and we have secured multiple high-value projects as a result of the system’s high-end appeal,” continues Adams. “Stellar is the only aluminium system to offer a genuinely fully flush window, with flush detailing inside and out. This is achieved thanks to the patented reverse buttjJoint, that means no dummy sashes or reverse adaptor profiles are needed.”

Q too

Adams adds: “And thanks to the system’s intelligent design protocols, it easily met the requirements of part L legislation and has the added benefit of being ready for the proposed amendments to approved document Q too.”

Communication

“We have been very impressed with the communication from Epwin concerning the changes to the building regulations,” says Adams. “The information supplied was clear to understand, which ensured we were ahead of the market for manufacturing compliance.”

Capital Windows is based in Uxbridge in London and works with domestic, trade and commercial sectors throughout the South-East.
