Glazing Summit '26 programme unveiled

John Mannell GGF technical officer

The agenda for Glazing Summit 2026 has been unveiled, featuring new breakout sessions, a Bank of England economic update and a dedicated Supply Chain Debate, as the sector's leading conference returns to the Coventry Building Society Arena on Thursday 8 October.

Built around the principle of 'for the industry, by the industry', this year's programme has been developed through extensive consultation, combining independent market research with direct input from the Glazing Summit steering committee. The result is a programme focused on the issues, opportunities and challenges facing today's fenestration businesses.

As the industry continues to navigate economic uncertainty, evolving regulations and increasing pressure to innovate, Glazing Summit 2026 will bring together senior leaders, decision-makers and industry experts to share insight, debate key issues and explore practical solutions.

The programme has been shaped by the Glazing Summit steering committee, the members of which worked alongside organisers to identify the topics most relevant to businesses across the sector. Their input has been complemented by independent research from Keystone Market Research, which highlighted demand for content covering current market conditions, future growth opportunities, sustainability, leadership, skills and innovation.

"I was delighted to support the Glazing Summit by conducting independent research to help shape the 2026 programme," said Charlotte Hawkes, director of Keystone Market Research. "It's great to see the agenda directly reflecting industry priorities, with a strong focus on market insight and practical business strategies."

Headline sessions include an economic update from the Bank of England, a technical clinic featuring leading industry experts, and a supply chain debate examining the pressures and opportunities facing businesses across the sector.

New for 2026, delegates can also personalise their experience through a series of breakout sessions covering specialist topics including skills, marketing, innovation and technical regulations, allowing attendees to focus on the discussions most relevant to their business.

"This year's Glazing Summit has a real focus on innovation, alongside the regulatory changes and technical challenges businesses are dealing with right now," says John Mannell, technical officer at the GGF and a member of the Glazing Summit steering committee. "Following feedback from last year, we've introduced a broader mix of voices across the panels and given delegates more choice over which sessions to attend, creating an even more valuable experience."

Tracey Jackson, business development manager at Howells Patent Glazing and steering committee member, says: "What makes this year's programme stand out is how closely it reflects the real conversations happening across the industry. From economic pressures and supply chain challenges to technical developments and future opportunities, the sessions have been shaped by people working in the sector every day, making the content practical, relevant and immediately useful."

Alongside the conference programme, delegates will have extensive opportunities to network with peers, suppliers and industry leaders throughout the day. Tickets include access to the conference and exhibition, refreshments, lunch, parking and the evening networking drinks reception.

With the full agenda now live and demand expected to be high, organisers are encouraging delegates to book early to secure their place and guarantee access to the most popular breakout sessions.
