Kevin Warner has come back to Profine UK just as the Kömmerling brand has announced a new 6-chambered flush sash profile for its 70mm platform and that the company will take twice the size of stand at the FIT Show than had been booked.

Warner returns as sales and marketing director (working as he had done previously with Robert Thiroff, managing director) to a significantly larger business than the one he left two years ago - and one that’s looking to build upon its position in the UK with significant planned investment. With the recent launch of the super energy-efficient flush sash and and what is now a massive stand at next year’s FIT Show there’s much to be buoyant about.

Doubling up

Kömmerling has doubled its floor space for FIT as a major statement of intent of their ambitions as a global brand in the UK, with the promise of new products, several exciting business initiatives and a special announcement that’s being kept under wraps until the show opening.

The newly expanded floor space will result in Kömmerling exhibiting with a 156sq.m floor area for the event on 10-12 May at the NEC.

With pre-registrations the best yet, this could be one of the most influential shows in the history of the FIT Show and a must for installers and fabricators eager to seek what’s new industry wide.

Flushed

The Kömmerling brand has just seen the introduction of a new 6-chambered flush sash profile for its 70mm platform that will achieve a U-value of 1.2 (W/m²K) as standard which will adhere to the new Part L Building Regulations for the new housing and replacements sectors.

It is available in 21 different colour combinations from stock, along with a fast-track service for other finishes.

It is also a product development that has been specifically engineered for the latest TimberWeld, MechWeld and seamless welding technologies.

Glazing options are from 28 to 40mm and the cleverly designed steel reinforcement helps create a pseudo 7th chamber for enhanced energy efficiency credentials.

It’s a design option capable of satisfying the requirements for a contemporary equal sightline window or a traditional one, depending on the colour and finishing hardware chosen.

Robert Thiroff says: “It’s packed with technical features and performance credentials, along with a wide range of finishes. Several of our manufacturing partners are already looking to invest in it with a product launch programme.”

He continued: ‘It’s a pity we couldn’t showcase this at the FIT Show this year, but we will certainly do so next, along with other product and service initiatives.’
