Guinness – Vents Good For You

We all agree ventilation is good for you – and ventilation louvre firm Renson UK has provided a bespoke louvre solution to The Guinness Partnership’s Imperial 2 new build development in east London.

Designed by Assael Architecture and installed by Alliance Façade Services, Imperial 2 is an enormous new build development in Bromley-By-Bow, providing over 500 homes, community space and commercial areas across five high rise tower blocks.

Aluminium windows, doors, curtain walling and rainscreen cladding were all part of the project along with the louvres from Renson.

Renson’s 414 louvre panels are made from aluminium sections with stainless steel 304 insect screen with aluminium blade supports. The Renson 414 louvre is fully tested and achieved a Class A weather rating when tested to EN 13030:2001.

Air quality

Renson UK national sales manager Martin Daniels says: “While modern buildings are better insulated than ever, it’s essential that they are also built with effective ventilation, without which poor indoor air quality is likely, as are the number of health issues that come with it.

“We take great pride in offering high-quality ventilation solutions that undergo rigorous testing, while we also excel at creating customised products for projects such as this.”
