Slinky Studio has given Envirobuild the top number by way of a 5-star review for its Hyperion Explorer composite decking. Slinky Studio is a website which in its own words ‘promotes cool, and interesting product ideas’.
The site’s founder used the silver birch decking to create an eye-catching pathway leading up to his garden room studio where he works.
“We wanted a good woodgrain look. The Explorer silver birch won us over, with an embossed woodgrain effect and the fact that it can be supplied in four metre lengths. This meant that we could produce a one-metre-wide pathway without any waste whatsoever.”

Fixings and screws too
“We also needed edge boards for two steps to raise our path upwards. This comes in 2.5 metre lengths, so for our use it was ideal,” continues Sheppard. “Envirobuild can supply all the fixings and screws according to the lengths of material ordered."
Dr Aidan Bell, spokesperson for Envirobuild, was very happy with the rating from Slinky Studio. He says: "It is great to get a five-star rating – they haven't given a perfect score in almost half a year. "
Wood looks
Hyperion Explorer was chosen by Slinky Studio for its realistic wood look and wood-grain texture. However, the decking is not just pleasing to the eye. It is manufactured almost entirely from recycled materials (~90%), has a low-maintenance anti-slip surface and is stain and scratch resistant. It also benefits from a 10-year commercial limited warranty (15-year residential).

Envirobuild is offering free sample packs of Hyperion Explorer decking in all available colours.
