Squaring Up To Recovery With Kyube

A new range of garden rooms to meet the growing demand for affordable extra work and leisure spaces at home has been launched by Eurocell.

Kyube is a modular, bespoke building design that can be used as a summer house, playroom, fitness room or – as more and more people adjust to the new normality of working from home – a dedicated office space.

Timber frame and steel frame options

Introducing the new range at the same time as it announced the reopening of its 200 plus branch network, Eurocell confirmed it would be available in both timber frame and steel frame options.

The timber frame Kyube comes fitted with a choice of low maintenance exterior composite cladding and either patio or French doors. The interior is left unfinished so customers can add their own design touches.

The steel frame version offers a number of interior finish options. These include luxury vinyl flooring, internal cladding and Eurocell’s own recycled PVC-U skirting boards. It has an insulated steel roof with a 750mm canopy and 100mm cavity wall insulation for year-round warmth and comfort.

“The economy as a whole and the construction industry in particular have been hit very hard by the enforced lockdown. As we start to take the first steps towards recovery, we want to support our customers in as many ways as we can.”

Terrific opportunity

“With summer nearly here, it’s the obvious time to introduce a garden building range. On top of that, we’re seeing increasing demand for home office spaces. Many people will be still be working from home for a good while, maybe even permanently," continues  McDonnell. "Kyube is the ideal way to create a quiet space, away from family distractions, where owners can focus on their work undisturbed.

"Garden rooms are therefore a terrific opportunity for trade conservatory and window installers and landscape garden contractors to extend their offerings to homeowners.”

Power options

McDonnell adds: "Plug and play electricity supply packs are an option in every Kyube specification – essential for bringing power and light to home working spaces – and A-rated Eurocell windows and doors are supplied as standard to help create a comfortable environment for working and relaxing. High-security multi-point door locking systems add extra peace of mind, especially when a Kyube home office contains computer equipment or sensitive work files."

Sizes & lead times

Kyube is available in fourteen sizes, from 3m x 2.5m right up to 6m x 3m, so it can be ordered to fit practically any size of garden. Between its many external cladding, door colour, door furniture, flooring and interior finish options, it offers no fewer than 72 configurations for householders to choose from.

Lead time from order is just four weeks, and everything installers need is included in the Kyube kit. Because of that, a complete Kyube can be erected and finished in as little as two days, with Eurocell assuring customers its usual quality control standards ensuring a fast, trouble-free fit.

As with all Eurocell products, Kyube comes with an extensive guarantee covering timber frame models for 10 years and steel frame designs for 50 years.
