• Zak’s Back – Manchester’s Turn For Façades Frolics

After a successful frolicking debut in Dublin in April, Schüco will be exploring the digital building envelopes at Zak World of Façades on May 4. The event will be held at the Mercure Piccadilly, Manchester.

The one-day conference will gather fabricators, architects, developers, contractors, façade and structural consultants amongst others to attend panel discussions and network.

Talks will be given by a selection of experts in façade design, engineering, procuring and execution.

Internet of Façades

Hendrik Köster, Head of Business Area – Internet of Façades at Schüco International will talk about ‘Unleashing the Power of Digital Building Envelopes’. He will discuss the benefits of digitalising façades and the new Schüco Internet of Façades ID tags and their functionality.

Attendees will hear Köster explore the possibilities of real-time data on façades. He will argue that digital building envelopes could become instrumental in collecting and communicating information in the future, making urban spaces more efficient, more sustainable and better places to live.

Visitors will be able to see the Internet of Façade tags first hand at the event to understand how they work on a façade element.
