Fabricator Modplan held a recent Leka Systems open day. Ian Lewis, from the company says: “It was a great introduction to our Leka portfolio showed prospects the level of commitment they could expect from us.

“We’ve already secured several new sales enquiries.”

A mixture of business owners, managers and sales representatives attended the one-day event, which took place on 27 March 2at Modplan’s headquarters near Newport, Gwent. Attendees were able to learn more about the advantages of the Leka roofing portfolio, including live presentations on a solid roof, orangery roof system, Leka Xi modular system, carport and canopy system and skylight.

On hand throughout the day was Rhys Hoddinott, MD of Leka Systems.  He says “Market conditions are working in our favour and with the rise in energy prices, more households are focusing their attention on energy saving products. Our roofing systems make buildings much more thermally efficient by design which presents a big opportunity for fabricators and installers.”

Thermal efficiency

Leka’s roofing solutions transform conservatories that are too hot in summer or too cold in winter because they have U-values as low as 0.10W/m²K.

Modplan was the first fabricator to manufacture Leka in the UK. The firm offers customer support, which includes marketing, product training and additional business development activities such as open days.
