Leka Launch Light On Energy At Light Price

Leka Systems has launched its ecotech building control compliant roof systems which achieves 0.15w/m2k, which is expected to be appealing to homeowners looking for thermal efficiency and compliance.

The roof uses the same technology as the Leka Warm Roof. It is manufactured from a structurally tested, high grade GRP profile system, which means none of the cold bridging or condensation associated with aluminium and timber.

“Our ecotech roofing system ensures compliance for installers but as importantly, maintains a competitive price in the process. The new roof is thermally efficient by design and is a further extension of our popular Leka Warm Roof, Leka Orangery and Leka xi roofing products.”

Growing popularity

Leka says its roofing products have become popular with fabricators and installers since they ere launched in 2015. In the past twelve months, the company has trained many fabricators and installers to help them get up and running with Leka products. Hoddinott continues: “The conservatory roof market is changing rapidly and fabricators need to ensure they’re offering the products that installers need to compete in the new landscape. The changes to part L of the building regulations covering thermal efficiency have had a huge impact on many solid roof manufacturers. It has never been more important for fabricators and installers to offer the best in energy-compliant products. And with the rise in energy prices, more consumers will be looking at ways to improve the thermal efficiency of their conservatories and extensions too.”
