Slimline Supports High Performance In Design-Led Projects

Reynaers Aluminium UK has launched a new high insulation plus variant to its popular SlimLine 38 windows system.

It combines Passive House levels of insulation with minimal sightlines and a reduced carbon footprint.

Designed to support demand for sustainability-led construction, Reynaers SlimLine 38 HI+ (SL 38 HI+) window system (inward opening) can be fabricated to replicate a ‘steel look’ typically found in heritage buildings. It is also ideal for retrofit projects as well as domestic or commercial projects where there is a desire for a clean, modern finish.

Cradle to Cradle

Suitable for reduced energy building projects, SL 38 HI+ is produced with Cradle to Cradle certified profiles that are 100 per cent recyclable to support product circularity whilst providing a design-led option to specifiers and architects also looking for a premium performance product.

SL 38 HI+ reaches Passive House levels of insulation, drastically limiting heat loss to achieve an exceptional level of thermal efficiency to meet and exceed the latest building standards, making it suitable for new build projects as well as upgrades and refurbishment projects.

New to portfolio

An established and regularly specified product in Reynaers’ portfolio, the addition of the high insulation upgrade to the SL 38 window represents Reynaers’ commitment to development, testing and innovation with multiple variants and glazing options allowing for design freedom alongside high performance.

Security

It is available in a burglar-proof variant, SL 38 HI+ is PAS 24 - RC2 certified to maximise safety and provide additional peace of mind.

Ian Osborne, the product manager at Reynaers Aluminium UK, says: “The launch of Reynaers SL 38 HI+ window for the UK market supports specifiers and architects looking for a high-performance system that delivers long-term sustainability and comfort, alongside slim sightlines for a clean, modern aesthetic.

“SlimLine 38 HI+ has slender opening vents up to 3m in height, maximising internal light and achieving expansive views of surrounding landscapes.

“The updated window is only 8mm deeper than the standard system, yet offers the same slender aesthetics, style variants and futureproof design that continues to make this system an essential part of our product portfolio.”
