The Flying Dr Brings Feel Good Factor
Dr Peter Mrosik felt so good about buying a failed UK extrusion plant and saving jobs, he recently flew in to visit the facility and see the scale of operations and all the newly acquired brands included in the purchase.
Dr Mrosik is the owner and CEO of the global Profine Group. He was the man behind the acquisition of Aperture Trading in May once that firm had fallen into the hands of the administrators.

Growth
Collectively, the new UK operation at Huthwaite in Nottinghamshire is one of the largest subsidiaries in the group, boasting the new brands of Evolve, Legend and Warmcore, alongside Kömmerling.
During his visit Dr Mrosik saw several Kömmerling 70 tools running in the extrusion hall next to other profiles and accessories. It was also a similar story in the foil lamination facility, as the business looks to fulfil the considerable growth in post-lockdown demand over recent weeks and months.
“I was delighted to be able to visit this fundamentally important facility for the group. After many years of consideration, we now have a UK extrusion facility that I am in no doubt will prove a platform for further growth. Credit should be given to the team in the way in which the deal was concluded and subsequently production commencing within 24 hours of the deal.”

Great potential
