Epwin Window Systems has taken delivery of its second Luna R automatic profile lamination machine, which increases the company’s foiling capacity - and its ability to make money from colour.

With the Luna R machine's automatic set-up, Epwin Window Systems (EWS) plans to scale-up its foiling capacity to meet demand. The machine has a flexibility and intelligent technology that can wrap complex profiles whilst maintaining product quality according to Epwin.

Colour

The six-figure investment in the Luna R machine is part of EWS' long-term strategic plan and continuing investment in colour technology. O’Hara adds: “With colour being a key driver in architecture, we introduced our new Colour Collection early in 2020. This Collection reflected the latest trends in colours across our PVC-U systems with a range of traditional, contemporary, metallics and designer-influenced hues.

“The demand for our coloured products has risen exponentially and has resulted in this latest investment to ensure we can offer a competitive, high-quality offer to our customers throughout 2021.”
