White Overtaken By Colour

Dekko Window Systems Green profile window

Fabricator, Dekko Window Systems reports that in the past year, orders for white frames were in the minority, with 55% of all orders being for coloured windows across both PVC-U and aluminium options.

Dekko's supplier is Deceuninck, which is well known for its ability to supply coloured PVC-U  profile on short lead times. Further boosting Dekko’s colour sales is the recent launch of 10 new colours by Residence 9.

“Coloured profile has been a growing trend across the industry for a while now, especially in the post-lockdown home improvement boom. Homeowners have been investing more and more in their properties and there’s certainly an uptake in people choosing colours rather than the standard white products we’re used to.”

Quick turnaround

“Deceuninck has been a long-standing and reliable supplier of an extensive range of high-performing PVC-U products such as flush sash window systems and patio door systems, all available in a wide range of foils and colour coated finishes,” continues Dekko’s Greatrex. They are able to offer us a quick turnaround on these products, enabling us to offer short lead times to our customers in turn.”

Residence 9

Adds Greatrex: “We were always able to offer our customers the Residence 9 range in a wide range of colours and wood effects but thanks to recent expansion, we’re now able to offer exclusive colours such as clotted cream, Cotswold biscuit, eclectic grey, and No.10 black, to name a few, giving our customers a lot more to choose from.”

Aluminium

In addition, Dekko’s Räum collection of aluminium windows and doors are all finished with a powder coat paint application, available from hundreds of colours with matt or gloss finishes, woodgrain and textured options, or a special scratch-resistant, low-maintenance Coatex finish.”
