New Leaders Lead On Lead Times

Conservatory roof manufacturer SupaLite has strengthened its team which will help the firm maintain its 2-week lead times.

The company has welcomed Kevin Pratley as the new office manager and promoted two existing staff members to management level. Laura Cort, who previously worked in the sales department, is now a customer services manager. Luke Carter has become technical manager. His position will focus heavily on new SupaLite products as well as reviewing the current ways of working to help make improvements across the organisation.

“It’s an exciting time at SupaLite and investing in our workforce is really important as we continue to grow. Promoting existing team members and recruiting new talent is key to taking the business to new heights.”

– Steve Hacking

Managing director, SupaLite

Lead times

Despite the existing industry challenges and supply chain crisis, lead times have not been affected and SupaLite is still offering 7-10 day delivery to its customers.

Hacking continues: “Companies have been continually struggling due to the creaking supply chain, with their customers suffering due to extended lead times at a time when demand needs to be met but thanks to the relationship we have with our supply chain partners, we haven’t been as affected, which has meant we have been able to maintain our two-week lead time for our customers.”

SupaLite’s £300,000 investment in a new Haffner machining centre last year and the strengthening of its workforce, has also allowed the company to increase its productivity levels.
