Insight to CPA

Alex Tremlett commercial director Insight Data

Insight Data, has become an Associate Member of the Construction Products Association (CPA), paving the way for closer collaboration with the association and its members.

The CPA is the trade body for construction product manufacturers, suppliers and trade associations. Through its direct members and wider network, it represents around 85% of the UK construction industry and plays an influential role in shaping government policy and supporting the sector's long-term growth.

Insight Data claims to hold one of the most detailed commercial databases in the UK construction sector, covering glazing fabricators and installers, builders' merchants, housebuilders, architects, roofing contractors, and heating and plumbing businesses, among others. Its Salestracker CRM platform is used by more than 1,000 sales professionals, including many of the glazing industry's biggest brands.

The company says that membership of the CPA opens the door to future research collaboration, joint data projects and closer engagement with the manufacturers and suppliers that make up the association's membership - opportunities Insight Data says it intends to explore as the relationship develops.

Alex Tremlett, commercial director of Insight Data, says: "We hold detailed intelligence on tens of thousands of businesses right across the construction supply chain. CPA membership gives us the opportunity to bring that closer to the manufacturers, suppliers and trade bodies at the heart of the industry - and to explore how our data can support research and projects that benefit the sector as a whole.

"There is real potential here for meaningful collaboration. We are looking forward to getting involved with the CPA network and finding ways to add value."

Rob Lee, senior external affairs manager at the CPA, says: "Insight Data has built an impressive picture of the construction supply chain, and particularly the glazing and fenestration sector. We are pleased to welcome them as Associate Members and look forward to exploring how their market intelligence can complement the work of the CPA and its members."

Alongside the membership itself, Insight Data will have access to CPA events, working groups and industry forums, strengthening its connections across the wider construction products sector.
