Hamilton – The Very Definition Of An Unsung Hero

Paul Hamilton of Business Micros is the G24 Unsung Hero Award

Paul Hamilton, a data technician at the BM Group, was named the industry’s Unsung Hero at the G24 Awards after 25 years quietly working behind the scenes helping countless customers with software support and system databases.

Over the years, he has made it his mission to learn and absorb every aspect of the data behind the BM Group’s suite of software products and is now responsible for maintaining and developing the system houses’ datasets for the company’s flagship software platform – BM Touch. Hamilton is the person at BM Group’s support HQ that can always be relied upon to have the answer to any data related query and brings a calm head, a steady hand and a great Scottish sense of humour to every customer interaction.

Pride

Jude Knowles, BM Group’s head of operations and Group HR, says: “Paul was and remains integral to our customer experience as he is a popular and patient and extremely knowledgeable in helping customers and colleagues alike. We’re all delighted that he stood out amongst so many other impressive Unsung Hero nominations. We’ll be displaying the trophy here with an immense sense of pride.”

The Unsung Hero award was judged in part by Brian Shillibeer of The Installer and The Fabricator media channels. It was he who commented that Hamilton is the very definition of an unsung hero.
