Read Full ArticleThe Door and Hardware Federation (DHF) has produced a free ‘owners guide’ entitled: Guidance for owners and managers of Industrial Doors, Garage Doors, Powered Gates and Traffic Barriers.
The guide is based on DHF TS 011 and DHF TS 012.
Education and training programme
DHF’s Commercial Manager, Patricia Sowsbery-Stevens says: “The DHF were to run a seminar based on the guide at the FIT Show. The show has been cancelled but we are hoping to inform and educate a wider audience on how to keep their products safe and compliant when we run the seminar, perhaps at our premises, later in the year. Both the seminar and owners guide will highlight the dangers of not taking maintenance seriously. As we know, in the past, owners have been prosecuted because they have not maintained their product in a legal and appropriate manner.
"We are once again placing education at the heart of our activity.”
